It’s a Naija linkup: Wale releases new single, “Love & Loyalty” featuring Mannywellz

Happy 59th Independence Day to Nigeria! For this special occasion, Wale released another single from his upcoming album, Wow…That’s Crazy. “Love & Loyalty” features fellow DMV artist and friend of the tribe, Mannywellz. On this track, Baba Folarin pulls from his Nigerian roots with an upbeat tribalistic production from Sango, raps using subtle Yoruba lines, and even refers to himself as Young Sunny Ade of his city (facts). Mannywellz does what he does best, adding a little bit of #Oulala magic to the song with a catchy chorus that could be repeated for hours and really brings the track together. I may be biased, but this is my favorite release so far. Listen to the track below!
