The Bad Gal Shares her Experiences in Malawi

We previously covered the Bad Gyal’s humanitarian work in Malawi. Well, Rihanna is back at it again, this time around sharing her work with the Malawian students, as well as the students’ stories in the form of a short documentary. According to Ripple Africa, the drop out rate for Malawian students from primary school is high, with only 57% of students completing primary school and only 7% going to complete their secondary school education. Rihanna’s charity, the Clara Lionel Foundation (named after Rihanna’s grandparents) was founded 5 years ago with the goals of fighting injustice, poverty, and inequality while helping to improve the access available to education and healthcare. The Clara Lionel Foundation teamed up with both the Global Citizen and the Global Partnership for Education to pursue this endeavor; get inspired and watch the documentary below.
