Last Sunday, friend of the Tribe, DJ, super producer, and now philanthropist Juls, put together a show to help raise money for the victims of the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Dubbed the “Afrobeats to the World Show,” it featured a long list of the UK’s prominent afrobeats stars including, Eugy, Moelogo, Sona, Kwamz and Flava, and many more. They managed to sell out the O2 Islington Academy 2 and raise over £1,100 to donate to the victims. Special shoutout to Juls for putting this together. His show proves that sometimes it’s deeper than “just” music; influence can be used to bring people together to help uplift communities–a step that we all need towards trying to make the world a better place.
