“Listen to the kids, bro!” A couple of years later, Kanye’s statement proves to be seemingly prophetic. We have the ability to share thoughts and opinions on multiple platforms all at your fingertips. With the popularity of Serial and the ingenuity of Millennials, more and more people are now sharing their stories and life experiences via podcasts. It’s only right that in the middle of the influx of new podcasts being shared, we give you some African ones that you should check out.

1. The Africanist

Headed by @ItsEarthKwak ,@DrFemdizzle, @YAWontheMOON and @kingmiddy. This panel gives a different perspective on life’s trials and tribulations and the struggle of Africans living in America. Check them out here.

4. The Ladies Room

“A show for women, by women, to women, through women”. Every Wednesday at 7pm you can tune into your Gidilounge app (or simply watch your timeline blow up)  and listen to fresh and relative discussions on topics such as relationships, parenthood, women empowerment, and more.
